SEO Action Plan splits its report into a Dashboard plus ten focused tabs, each covering one part of on-page SEO. This page maps every tab to what it actually looks for, so you know where to go for a specific answer.
Dashboard: the overview #
The Dashboard tab opens by default. It pulls the most important number from every other tab into one screen: indexing status, word count, a readability snapshot, image and link counts, and a performance score. Use it to spot problems fast, then jump to the relevant tab for details.
The other ten tabs #
- SEO: title tag, meta description, canonical URL, meta robots, hreflang, favicon, viewport, and the HTML lang attribute. This is the tab to read first for any on-page problem.
- Social: Open Graph tags, Twitter Card tags, and a preview of how the page looks when shared on LinkedIn.
- Headings: the full H1 to H6 tree, including missing, duplicate, or empty headings.
- Images: every image on the page, flagged for missing alt text or broken image links.
- Links: internal and external links, anchor text, and nofollow status.
- Schema: JSON-LD and Microdata structured data found on the page.
- Performance: Core Web Vitals, LCP, FCP, CLS, INP, TTFB, and TBT, rolled into a 0-100 score.
- Content Insights: word count, readability, keyword density, hidden text, and duplicate text.
- Tools: one-click links to a page’s sitemap.xml, robots.txt, llms.txt, page source, and external validators.
- Indexing: a five-signal indexability check covering HTTP status, robots.txt, X-Robots-Tag, meta robots, and canonical URL.
The optional AI tab #
There’s also an AI tab, which is bring-your-own-key. It works with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, or DeepSeek, and it’s the only tab that needs any setup at all. Everything else works the moment you install the extension. See how to set up the AI SEO Assistant if you want to turn it on.
New to the extension? Start by installing the SEO Action Plan and running your first audit before working through the tabs one by one.
Common questions #
No. The Dashboard tab already aggregates the key metrics from every other tab: indexing status, word count, image and link counts, and a performance score. Open the individual tabs when you want the full detail behind one of those numbers.
No. Every tab except AI works with zero setup and no account. The AI tab is optional and only adds AI-generated suggestions on top of the checks that the other tabs already run.
The Indexing tab and the indexing card on the Dashboard. Both read the same five signals: HTTP status code, robots.txt, X-Robots-Tag header, meta robots tag, and canonical URL.
